BRUSSELS, BELGIUM (Tuesday 3 September 2019) - After announcing a new TV contract (three years) at the beginning of season 18-19, the League now launches its own streaming platform on euromillionsbasketball.be.
During the past 18-19 season, eight Sunday afternoon games were broadcasted LIVE on Sporza and 40 games on Telenet (Play Sports), VOO (VOO Sports) & Proximus (Proximus Sports).
The Pro Basketball League will now expand their tv-offer with more basketball on their own digital video platform, where fans will be able to watch all games LIVE and on-demand.
For this it is entering a collaboration with three leading companies in the sector:
- All EuroMillions Basketball League games will be produced by PlaySight. Their "Smart Sports Artificial Intelligence" and corresponding camera technologies will provide a fully automated viewing experience.
- LIGR (Live Graphic Systems) will embed automated graphics to the live broadcast. It will provide a high quality viewing experience to fans of the league with real time live stats & integration of commercial partners of the league and clubs.
- Sportradar will deliver the technology behind the platform in order to distribute the live games, highlights and other video content.
In addition to live and on-demand streaming, fans will also be able to visit the platform for all kind of highlights and other video content.
