16 teams still have a chance to win the Lotto Basketball Cup this season. In addition to the matchups for the 1/8th finals, the path to the cup final was also determined by yesterday's draw. Some protective measures still apply in the 1/8th finals:

- the top 4 teams from last season's BNXT competition cannot play against another BNXT team at this stage. Specifically, these are Filou Oostende, Telenet Giants Antwerp, Kangoeroes Basket Mechelen and HUBO Limburg United.

- All teams from Top Division Men enjoy home advantage in this round. When a BNXT team meets a Top Division Men team, the winner is determined in one game, with the TDM team enjoying home court advantage. When two BNXT teams face each other, the winner is determined by a back-to-back matchup. The team drawn first will have home court advantage in the first game..All games in this round will be played on Oct. 20, 21 and 22
